Registration requirements for the participant of the XII International Conference on Forensic Weapons Research

- The abstract (50-100 words);

For publication in the proceedings of the conference, the text of the report of up to 6 pages must be sent to the organizing committee no later than September 15, 2025. The best papers of the conference participants will be recommended for publication in the next issues of the peer-reviewed scientific journal “Proceedings of Saratov University. Series Economics. Management. Law.”.
Requirements for the preparation of papers
Authors should adhere to the following rules when formatting the paper:
1. Structure of the report:
- title of the report;
- initials and surnames of the authors;
- degree, position, place of work, full official name of the institution, e-mail of the authors; - abstract and keywords in Russian;
- the text of the report;
- a list of references.
2. The text of the report should include an introduction, the main part, and the conclusion.
3. The total volume is no more than 6 pages.
4. The text should be printed in one interval in A4 format with margins of 2 cm, the font of the text is Times New Roman, the font size of the text is 12. Word wrapping in the text should be disabled.
5. Each table should be numbered in Arabic numerals and have a thematic heading summarizing its contents. Units of measurement are indicated after the decimal point.
6. Graphic material (figure, scheme, photo, diagram). Any graphical material in the text should be labeled as “Figure __” (numbering in Arabic numerals through) and have a title. The number and title are placed below the figure. The image is aligned in the center. The format of the figure should provide clarity of all details. Designations and all inscriptions in the figures should be legible; the dimension of values is indicated with a comma. The caption should be without reference to the text. If the illustration contains additional notations, they should be decoded after the caption.
7. Illustrations may be submitted in *.jpg; *.jpeg; *.png; *.gif; *.tiff; *.bmp. All drawings should be made in grayscale. Images should be made in a graphic editor (not Word).
8. All physical quantities should be given in the International System of Units (SI).
9. Formulas included in the text and not requiring complex special symbols are recommended to be typed using MS Word editor. Formulas on a separate line are numbered (numbering is continuous) on the right with Arabic numerals in parentheses. Only formulas referenced in the text are numbered. Formulas are typed using MS Word, Microsoft Equation 3.0 or MathType. It is necessary to adhere to a uniform style of typing formulas in the article. It is not allowed to present Formulas in the form of images.
10. References to sources are made out in square brackets in the text in the order of mentioning with the number of the source in the reference list.
11. The list of references should be drawn up in accordance with GOST R 7.0.5-2008 “Bibliographic description of printed works”.
12. Reports should be submitted as a file with an extension .doc or .docx.
